READ: Chynna Ortaleza mourns the loss of her dad

It's been a sad but hopeful 24 hours for Chynna Ortaleza as she mourns the loss of her dad, Gryk Ortaleza, who passed away yesterday, May 13.

In a post on Instagram, the Idol sa Kusina host took the time to pay tribute to the late producer-turned-advertising man.

She wrote, “My brilliant father, Gryk Ortaleza, has been called on to greater heights.

“You can now collaborate with Our Lord. I feel so excited about how you can now orchestrate your ideas with the universe as your background with the ultimate privilege of collaborating with the best Artist.

“Thank you for your outstanding contributions to Advertising, Music & Cinema.

“See you one day in a place of endless dreams.

“I love you.”

Several celebrities offered their condolences to Chynna's family including Carla Abellana, John Pratts, Ina Feleo, Benjamin Alves, and LJ Reyes.
